This topic is as idea dense as it is energy dense.
The earth’s climate regulating mechanisms are the sun, the wind, and the water. Once we derive significant amounts of energy from these sources, the regulation of the climate will undergo unintended consequences, far more likely harmful than beneficial. The cure for such a tort has a greater cost than the value of the energy thus stripped from the breast of Mother Gaia.
